Mission

WE CARE is an organization devoted to the promotion and facilitation of professional development and advancement of women in the field of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). As a group of professionals active in the field of IBD, we work together to provide leadership and mentorship to women interested in pursuing a career in IBD as educators, clinicians, researchers, doctors, and scholars.

WE CARE encourages and supports the addition of women to the specialty of gastroenterology in the area of IBD, and makes it possible for them to lead and participate in professional activities.

WE CARE also advocates for all patients with IBD, with a special understanding of women's issues.
